Service terms.
These draft terms explain the intended basis of a freight-service enquiry and engagement. Final terms must be approved for the operating jurisdiction and service model.
1. Quotes and availability
A website enquiry is not a booking. All prices, transit estimates, service availability and routes must be confirmed in a written quotation or service agreement. Quotes may depend on cargo details, carrier availability, origin, destination and applicable charges.
2. Accuracy of information
Customers must provide complete and truthful cargo descriptions, quantities, weights, dimensions, values, documentation and any relevant safety or handling requirements. Changes may affect the scope, price or suitability of a service.
3. Acceptance of a shipment
The business may decline or require changes to a proposed shipment where a route, cargo class, customs condition, safety rule or other requirement cannot be met. No shipment is accepted until expressly confirmed by the business.
4. Third-party carriers
Transport and handling may involve independent carriers, agents or subcontractors under separate applicable conditions. The final contract should identify the contracting parties and the conditions incorporated by reference.
5. Timing and delivery
Estimated collection, departure, clearance and delivery times are indicative unless expressly guaranteed in the agreed contract. Customs processes, weather, inspections, carrier schedules and other events may cause delays.
